We’re a bit competitive about everything—including safety.

We look after everyone in the Charter family. We all know going above and beyond in our work does not mean taking unnecessary risks. Construction work is hard, and construction workers are hardworking. There is nothing more important to us than the safety of our people and clients! We make sure everyone goes home safe every day.

We take safety seriously, which is why we hired Elske Finnoe, our Safety Director. She makes sure we:

• Include safety measures in every project budget and schedule—because a safe project is a more efficient project
• Plan for safety before any work begins
• Provide innovative safety orientations and training at the jobsite
• Speak about safety in a couple languages, offering bilingual training so all employees can help create a safe workplace
• Investigate and analyze any jobsite accidents so we can take new steps to avoid them in the future
• Empower all employees to make safety a company-wide priority
