Located in Seattle's Capitol Hill, this mixed-use residential building is slated for completion in May 2008. The project consists of two levels of underground parking; one level of retail; topped by five stories of residential condominiums and a rooftop garden.
Residential units will feature a low-impact design and open floor plans that utilize rolling partitions to give occupants the ability to modify their living spaces. The detailed acoustical design provides tenants with a quiet living space in the bustling urban area.
Project site constraints and limited street access are challenges that the project team will face during construction. The project site is bordered by three large buildings and a high-traffic street, requiring extensive shoring and soil retention practices.
