The Hill House, located in Seattle 's Capitol Hill, is a transforming renovation that is scheduled to take place over three phases. Phase one, which was recently completed, included the demolition of the first floor, and construction of four bedrooms, with finishes including terrazzo floors, custom door and base trims, and radiant floor heating.
Charter has already begun phase two with the demolition of the existing garage and mechanical rooms. Crews will cut an additional garage door opening into the home's existing exterior 22 inch concrete wall. New plumbing and electrical systems will be installed and finish work will be painstakingly matched with the home's original finish work. When complete, the home's garage and basement will feature a media room, workout and sauna areas and a new wine room.
