Charter beat a fast-paced, 8-month construction schedule to bring
this 101-unit condominium recladding project to completion under
a tight budget.
Crews demolished the existing siding on Ashford Park’s 33
buildings, removed extensive decay and added new vinyl siding. The
compressed schedule required intense collaboration between Charter
and the homeowners, who remained in the condos through the duration
of the repairs. Charter carefully coordinated its crews and subcontractors
during the large project, at times working on six buildings at once.
Crews battled extreme winter weather conditions during construction,
encountering snow, hail and freezing temperatures that stopped work
for two weeks. Charter reinforced its team, added hours and brought
the project to completion as scheduled.
