Completion: April 2005
Though only five years old, this Bellevue condominium property had
extensive water intrusion problems. The 48 three-level
townhouses needed some serious intervention.
After removing all the siding and decayed materials, Charter installed
new weatherproofing, flashings and reclad it with Hardiboard. All
windows and sliding glass doors were removed and replaced in the
process. Due to the large sizes of the front picture windows,
they were removed completely to allow a total rebuild of the window
rough openings.
To address surface water concerns of the homeonwers’ association,
Charter also installed new area drains and French drains throughout
the complex.
