Residents will remain in their homes during the duration of this construction defect repair job at a Lake Oswego, OR, townhome complex.
All 30 units require a complete redesign of the existing cedar siding, entry columns and private decks to incorporate waterproofing details that were missing in the original construction. Damaged wood handrails will be replaced with new aluminum railings.
Water damage at cedar siding to brick transitions is significant, requiring the removal of all wood trim at these transitions so that metal flashings can be installed.
Charter is working hard to preserve the architectural finishes of this high-end residential complex while providing the homeowners with a watertight envelope.
