Owner: Devonshire Homeowners' Association
Architect: Forensic Waterproofing Consultants
Completion: June 2007
Devonshire, a high-end townhome development located in Lake Oswego, OR, required extensive rot repair and a complete redesign of the existing cedar siding, decks and entry-way columns.
All 30 units required Charter's specialized defects repair team to replace and incorporate new waterproofing details that were missing from the buildings' original construction. Water damage at cedar siding to brick transitions was significant, requiring removal of all wood trim at the transitions. New metal flashings were installed to prevent water intrusion in the future.
The remediation team worked meticulously to preserve the architectural finishes of this high-end residential complex. As in all construction projects, Charter provided the homeowners with exceptional service and a watertight building envelope.
