The Hill House, located in Seattle’s Capital Hill neighborhood, is a renovation on a 1920’s house that took place over two phases. Phase one included the demolition of the first floor and construction of four bedrooms and a master bathroom with finishes including white terrazzo floors, custom door and base trims and radiant floor heating.
Charter began the second phase with the demolition of the existing garage, basement, and mechanical rooms. Crews cut the existing 22” concrete exterior wall of the garage to make room for an additional door opening. New plumbing and electrical was installed and all finish work was painstakingly matched to the home’s original. The home now features a full-scale media and fitness room with full sauna and integrated media control systems, wet bar with a wine room and additional hidden storage.
