Rapidly outgrowing their offices
in the historic Times Square Building in downtown Seattle, Loudeye
Technologies, Inc. came to Charter for a fast-track, multi-phased
expansion project. Four months later, this digital media services
company was in its new space, which included a state-of-the-art computer
facility that required extensive electrical and HVAC work.
More than 100 tons of new cooling equipment was retrofitted to the
Times Square Building without disturbing the historic nature of the
structure. Charter began the renovation with the third floor of one
building and phased in two additional floors in one building and
one floor in a building across the street. Because of the requirements
of this rapidly growing digital media services company and its high
tech equipment, Charter completed its work not only on a fast track,
but also maintained a dust-free environment.
