When the Marine Vista Homeowner
Association came to Charter, they had a tall order: perform 10,000
SF of exterior stucco repair under an extremely tight budget and
within a short, seven-month timeframe.
Crews not only filled the order, but also facilitated full reimbursement
for the homeowners. Charter thoroughly documented the repair process,
showing the owners, architects, engineers and insurance company the
defects that existed and how they were repaired.
The extent of decay on the job was more than initially expected,
requiring extensive repair of the west elevation decks. The deck
storage units were completely rebuilt, and in some cases, the structural
beam underneath the deck was replaced.
Charter also replaced the building’s roof, added new walkways
and built a new entrance, completing the entire job within the original
schedule.
