Cascade Gasket’s growth prompted the aerospace component manufacturer to seek new space. Charter built the company a new, 12,500 SF production facility that also includes new administration offices and training rooms. The facility also incorporates several advanced production systems including hydraulics, water circulation, and electrical distribution.
Charter crews first demolished several large buildings on the new project’s existing site before construction started on the ground-up project. Unstable site conditions required the installation of geo piers to stabilize the soil and provide a suitable bearing for foundations. New water, sewer, and electrical utilities were also brought onto the site.
The project team demonstrated a high level of competence and capability - an excellent example of quality project management. I personally appreciated the opportunity to work with them - typical Charter Construction!
