Located in the heart of historic Georgetown, Charter Construction’s new headquarters building is both sumptuous and utilitarian. The exterior of the 12,000 square foot building is deep red metal siding that blends with the older brick warehouses in the neighborhood. The interior is designed to encourage open collaboration between project teams and takes advantage of open space, high ceilings and extensive windows. Charter saved significantly on construction costs by using time tested, efficient building practices while earning a coveted "Certified" rating throught the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED program.
Charter took the lead in developing the LEED strategy for the building culminating a LEED silver rating. Charter’s quality staff and company wide commitment to excellence is exemplary. Charter receives my highest recommendation.
