The Heights at Issaquah Ridge Townhomes

The Heights is a 74 unit townhome complex located in Issaquah, WA.  Charter Construction has been heavily involved with the Owners Association for the past 5 years from the initial investigations to providing litigation estimates for its lawsuit, performing temporary repairs and most recently, providing value engineering options during the negotiation process.

The scope of the remediation will include the removal and replacement of exterior siding, deck railings and waterproofing materials.  New windows and sliding glass doors with stronger weather ratings will be installed.  Roof flashings will be added and structural upgrades performed to strengthen shear walls to protect against earthquake damage.

Perched on the hillside of the Issaquah Highlands, the buildings are heavily exposed to weather, requiring sound weather protection as buildings are opened during the winter months.  Old vinyl siding will be replaced with a state of the art rainscreen and Hardie siding system that will better protect the buildings from the extreme elements endured at this location.
