This 30-year old condominium complex in Redmond, WA, plagued with decaying shingles, dry rot and structural problems, was in need of a serious face lift.

Repairs included a complete strip & re-clad with Hardi-plank and vertical metal siding; replacement of aluminum windows and sliding glass doors with vinyl; deck sloping and installation of elastomeric deck coatings; removal and re-installation of steel deck and entry rails; sloped roofing replacement; and dry rot and structural repairs.

With four large buildings and 100 units, careful management and supervision of a large crew of carpenters and multiple trades was necessary. Units remained occupied throughout all stages of construction, requiring ongoing notification with residents of scheduled work.

Charter’s experienced project team worked closely with the architect and client to ensure that design intent, budget and schedule expectations were met.
