The Mariner Condominium complex in Edmonds, Washington underwent a much needed renovation. Upgrades included new roofing, siding and architecturally enhanced railings. The two buildings were originally sided with outdated 1960’s marble-crete. To increase the value and aesthetics of the property, the material was removed and replaced with an ultra modern design concept that incorporates the elements of the Pacific Northwest with distinct material styling.

The existing barrel roof system of the Penthouse unit was replaced using a crane to lift old sections off and install new roof trusses that were assembled on site. Prior to the reinstallation of the siding, the buildings underwent a full wrapping system to make them waterproof and breathable. Proper insulation of walls and re-cabling units was an integral part of upgrading unit energy efficiency. The new window package yielded a higher rating in heat retention and natural lighting capacity.

Mariner Condominiums enjoys an expansive view of Puget Sound and the rugged Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. Charter Construction provided the condominium owners with a value enhanced, energy efficient property with visual longevity.
