Overton Townhomes
Located in Portland, Oregon, this 6 building, 12-unit high-end townhome condominium complex required extensive repairs as a result of moisture and water intrusion problems.
Repairs included the removal and replacement of lap siding and brick veneer with new materials; installation of proper flashing and waterproofing drainage systems; re-routing of gutters and downspouts; modification of roof cricket framing; correction of inadequate deck slopes; and rebuilding of decks where extensive dry rot was identified.
Rather than the standard flanged window that was anticipated and priced, Charter encountered a significant challenge in the window design. The interior trim surround was attached to the vinyl window assembly. Charter and the consultant worked together to create a custom waterproofing solution to accommodate this unforeseen condition.
Throughout the tight, 6-month schedule, Charter’s project team worked closely with the architect and Homeowners’ Association to ensure a well executed project that exceeded expectations. Homeowners were kept apprised of all scheduled work and received Charter’s commitment to exceptional service.
Lots of businesses will say that customer satisfaction is paramount; Charter actually lives it.
