Charter’s commitment to Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood continues with the renovation of the former Tacoma Screw building. Charter crews transformed the 5,000 SF retail space into an interior designer’s showroom and office. Work involved complete interior demolition and the removal of two exterior walls. A new metal stud framing stucco exterior and a new roof system completed the transformation. Charter worked with the client and the design team in a modified design-build capacity to ensure the owner remained an integral part of the process throughout planning and construction.
