This project, located 20 feet from a very steep bluff, included construction of a 6,000 SF mansion, a 2,000 SF garage with a caretaker’s apartment, a pool and spa, formal gardens on the view side, and landscaping on the street side. This sophisticated design with high-end finishes includes a spiral staircase and “floating” hardwood floors over a hydronic heating system.

A tight site on a steep slope presented many challenging logistics, including difficult access and control of site water. The layout also presented many challenges with coordination and placement of the multiple mechanical systems – hydronics, ventilation, air conditioning and special systems for the pool and spa equipment.

Our experience with Charter Construction has proven to be one of integrity and the highest quality of master craftsmanship. Thanks to Charter our dream is now an enjoyable reality.
