Charter’s scheduling and coordination skills were put to the test during construction of this 9,500 SF lakefront home and garage.

The site is located on a steep slope and access was limited to a narrow driveway, requiring careful planning and monitoring of equipment and material delivery.

The home features a soaring “butterfly” roof supported by Douglas fir timber framing. The large timbers are connected with blind fasteners, resulting in seamless woodworking with no visible nails or bolts. The giant, one-of-a-kind roof timbers required extreme care during construction, requiring Charter to take extra steps to protect the material from the weather.

I liken this home project to an investment in a great company's stock. This applies to a home built by Charter. The longer we are in the home the more impressed we are with the quality of the contruction. Additionally, the post construction maintenance program is first rate. Investing in Charter Construction is one of the best investments we have made.
