Robert Benjamin’s construction experience spans 30 years with a focus
on commercial building, including restaurants, office buildings, manufacturing
facilities and large industrial complexes. At Charter, Benjamin will concentrate
on new commercial construction and renovations.
Benjamin’s meticulous review of projects during the planning phase helps
identify discrepancies before they have a chance to adversely affect the construction
process. His attention to detail is appreciated among all members of the design
and construction team.

- First Pacific Corporation – built five-story office complex,
including 65-ft. glass entry with complex design issues
- Skyline Homes manufacturing facility – facilitated two additions
to structure totaling 50,000 sq. ft. while building was still in operation
- First Christian Church – extensive renovation of old four-story church
involving careful removal of existing concrete walls
- Willamette Ear, Nose and Throat/Facial Plastic Surgery
facility – new
construction of ambulatory care facility within 100-year flood plain, requiring
extensive site build-up before construction
- Salem Hospital addition – construction
of a hospital addition on tight site between a creek and a state highway;
included complex equipment staging and installation of two, 65,000 lb. girders
across creek
