Chris Biega joined Charter Construction as a field carpenter. While in the field he expanded his construction knowledge in the areas of commercial and residential construction and construction defects repair.
Biega graduated with a degree in business communication. He has strong interpersonal skills coupled with a "ground-up" learning approach, and keeps it all in balance with a sense of humor. As a result, he brings to the jobsite a greater understanding not only of what Charter can offer the client, but also what the owner, architect and subcontractors need to be successful.

Projects
- Ratzlaff Residence – Worked as framer for complete renovation of 8,000 SF Victorian-style home in Madrona neighborhood; project included siding and roofing, structural upgrades, new exterior decks and select new interior finishes for the kitchen and master bedroom.
- Spring Hill Residence – Built framing and installed shake siding on front entry addition to a 6,000 SF high-end residence located 20 ft. from a steep bluff; project included detailed wood finishes, measured demolition and “floating” hardwood floor over a hydronic heating system.
- Manhattan Square – Led demolition crew during extensive construction defect repair work; thia condominium complex required new siding, firewall insulation, and waterproofing material on more than a dozen new terraces.
- Metropolitan Park Apartments – Worked as carpenter on remediation of moisture-damaged apartment complex; included replacing all windows, doors, rails and siding.
