Selected Projects
- Sheppard Lake House - 4,200 SF contemporary home on the western shores of Lake Washington; wood and structural steel design incorporates three floors of the highest-level finishes and wrap around decking to absorb panoramic views; the foundation was poured upon sixty-seven pipe piles to combat any potential future movement
- Taucher Residence - This small job included replacing old wood windows with new aluminum clad windows that kept the style and integrity of the home, integrating air conditioning into an existing media room, repairing a wood deck to receive new tile. In addition to the house upgrades, Charter constructed a 10’x10’ hot tub pad on a forty percent slope that sits on seven pin piles. Access to the new hot tub location is easier now that a spiral staircase connects the main floor deck and lower terrace
- Driver Residence -
This fast tracked project was a complete remodel of an existing 4,400 SF home and went from concept to substantial complete in less than 9 months. The newly updated interiors on the main floor include wall-to-wall vertical grain fir cabinets, new hardwood flooring, slate tile work, and massive sliding doors looking out to Lake Washington. The lower level includes a twenty-foot accordion style door, tile floors, and a new fireplace veneer to match the upstairs
