Summary of Qualifications
A long-time Charter team member, Glenn Madawi has worked on wide range of projects, from heavy construction work such as dams and bridges to high-end residential and commercial projects. He serves as Charter’s in-house expert on architectural concrete and finish carpentry, skills strengthened by over 30 years in the construction industry.
Glenn completed a four-year apprenticeship course offered by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America as well as the AGC Supervisory Training Program. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education and physiology from the University of Washington.

- Turtle Cove Residence - supervised construction of a impressive home along the shore of Lake Washington in Madison Park - incorporates geothermal heating and cooling systems and photovoltaic systems to supplement energy usage.
- Twin Firs Residence – supervised construction of lakefront mansion on narrow site with minimal laydown space
- Heily Residence – supervised construction of sophisticated custom residence on slide-prone, sensitive slope; residence featured in Architectural Digest
- Margolis Residence – supervised construction of architectural concrete and steel residence; featured in New American House, Volume 3, 2001
- R. R. Lee Residence – supervised construction of custom architectural concrete residence
- Wright Guest House – supervised construction of award-winning architectural concrete and wood guest house; integrated design with the natural environment
- Whaac All All Building – supervised construction of award-winning, four-story, multi-purpose building using a variety of construction methods and unique, highly detailed interior finishes
- Motorfreight Services – supervised project work on concrete tilt-up warehouse/distribution facility
- Belshaw Brothers Manufacturing Building – construction of a manufacturing facility for an automated food services company requiring tight budget, aggressive schedule and extremely close tolerances

To meet the intent of the architect, construction of this design-heavy guesthouse required significant site work and careful attention to detail.

This building’s name isn’t the only thing unusual about it. Whaac All All – a Salish Indian dialect meaning “build on stilts."
