Summary of Qualifications
At Charter, Jerry Burgess manages the mitigation and restoration of structures damaged due to water intrusion, smoke, fire, and vehicle impact. Jerry was introduced to the construction industry early, with an educator and carpenter for a father. While working for a local contractor, he became more experienced in residential and commercial construction.
Starting out as a laborer, and then moving into roles as a commercial and residential carpenter for several years, he took that experience and knowledge and started his own business. He has been directly responsible for building over 200 homes of various sizes and styles.
In recent years, Jerry’s focus has been primarily on estimating and managing insurance restoration projects. The nature of insurance response requires attention to detail, superb customer service and the ability to respond immediately to a variety of situations. Having been in several superintendent and project management roles, Jerry efficiently moves a project from start to completion with a goal of surpassing the client’s expectations.
