Brian Johnson joined Charter Construction as a laborer and carpenter. His exemplary jobsite skills and leadership talent propelled him quickly to the role of project manager. Following his graduation from Brigham Young’s construction management program, Brian returned to Charter, where he now specializes in commercial construction and construction defects repair.

Selected Projects

Huling Brothers Dealerships – Remodel of multiple dealerships; structural upgrades, improved mechanical and conveyor systems, operational relocations and renovated finishes.
Point Nautica Condominiums – Construction defect remediation which involved the pioneering of new systems to prevent water penetration into the building. The project was complicated by a frozen sprinkler pipe which froze one week before the job began.
Lochshire Condominiums – Complete exterior remediation of 100 townhomes; included replacement of courtyard waterproofing, topping, planters and irrigation.
Highlands Condominiums – Replaced all roofing, sheathing, and insulation to repair attic mold issue; upgraded site drainage and landscaping; remediated siding.
Cedar Ridge Condominiums – Renovation of 20 year old condominiums; included replacing sheathing and adding new structural holddowns.
Metropolitan Park Apartments – Decay repair and siding replacement at 6 story apartment building in downtown Seattle.
Garden Court Condominiums – Roofing, siding, and window replacement; included installation of new rainscreen system behind siding to allow for ventilation behind the new siding.
