of Qualifications
Don Lauren’s 33 years in the construction industry have taken him across
the western United States as a journeyman carpenter. He has worked in Washington,
Arizona and California on projects ranging from single-family residences to
theaters, libraries and hospitals. Lauren’s creativity and problem-solving
skills serve him well as a Charter superintendent. He is dedicated to completing
schedules ahead of time and under budget, and credits his close communication
with project owners as a great part of his success.

Selected Projects
- Trailwalk Apartments – completed construction defect repair of 120-unit
apartment complex within an aggressive, fast-track, three-month schedule;
replaced damaged support columns, replaced flashings and rebuilt decks while
complex remained occupied
- Bellevue Condominiums – reconstruction of all exterior water
damaged decks; removal of original siding and repair of water damaged material;
installation of new vinyl siding at 100-unit condominium complex
- One Carillon Point Condominiums – removed topping slab and old membrane
and installed new membrane and pavers; completed work on schedule despite
increase in project scope from $440,000 to $1.3 million; coordinated difficult
access to project surrounded by water
- Ballard Retirement Center – complete construction defect repair of
retirement residence; stucco reclad
- Marvin Gardens Apartments – stucco reclad of downtown Seattle apartment
complex on south and west elevations
- Naval Station Everett – supervised
construction of five new buildings at federal site, including security canine
kennel and naval firing range
