Summary of Qualifications

Chris Maffei was introduced to the construction industry in college, where he spent his summers working for a masonry company. Since then, his professional experience has ranged from custom home framing to construction defect repair for large commercial projects. Maffei is particularly skilled in project scheduling and understands the needs of owners and design teams. As a construction management student at Portland Community College, Maffei is sharpening his project management skills.

Professional Accomplishments

• Completing A.A.S. in Construction Management from Portland Community College

• Founder and vice-president of Portland Community College's Associated General Contractors (AGC) student chapter
• Holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of St. Thomas
• Holds Machinery Technician certificate – Diesel and Gas
• Served in the United States Coast Guard

Selected Projects 

• Tigard Triangle – Four-building business park located in Oregon. Assembled bid for electrical assembling of switchgear, lighting and distribution systems.
• Green Pond Residence– Full remodel of existing home. House was gutted to the existing wall studs, two-thirds of the home was re-framed and a portion of the roof was reconstructed.
• Portland Condo Project – Framed condos and performed rough carpentry from the foundation up on high-end condos in the Portland area.
