Summary of Qualifications
Vavi Brinkley has been involved in the construction field since 1987. Joining Charter Construction in 2004, Vavi worked on several commercial and residential projects as a carpenter. He quickly moved into project management where he continued to apply his knowledge and enthusiasm to every project he was dealt, working on jobs for each of Charter’s four business lines.
Most recently, Vavi manages emergency losses, working closely with both owners and insurance carriers. He is quick to respond and creates accurate estimates. With a smile on his face and his remarkable ability to ease clients’ concerns with his deep seated knowledge and gentle nature, Vavi is an invaluable member of the Charter team.

- Brouwer’s Café - Warehouse-to-restaurant renovation in the heart of Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood
- Equinox Apartments - Construction of new mixed-use condominium complex located on a tight site in Seattle's Eastlake neighborhood; project built as three interconnected sections surrounding a 9,600 SF courtyard with water feature and fire pit.
- Salish Lodge - Japanese-style Spa on a fast-track schedule with the highest quality workmanship.
- Turtle Cove Residence - New construction of an 11,000 sq. ft. single family residence. This new home utilized the largest photovoltaic electric system for a home in the City of Seattle, at 16.2 KW.
- Lochshire Condominiums - Complete exterior remediation of 100 townhomes; included replacement of courtyard waterproofing, topping, planters and irrigation.
- Metropolitan Park Apartments - Decay repair and siding replacement at the 6 story apartment building in downtown Seattle.
- King's Square Condominiums - Exterior envelope rehabilitation condominium complex. Incorporating high end exterior finishes with the waterproofing systems made this a very technically challenging project.

Exposed mechanical and structural elements define the interior of this warehouse-to-restaurant renovation in the heart of Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.

Extensive decay accelerated by exposure to extreme weather conditions required recladding of the entire apartment building.
