Lee Zulch backs an engineering degree from Stanford University with 30 years
of construction experience as a licensed general contractor. His experience
includes construction of a variety of projects including offices, shopping
centers, hospitals, educational facilities and residences. As a former business
owner, Zulch knows first hand the importance of controlling costs for the owner.

- Fortuna Lodge – renovation and seismic upgrade to historic community
building on Mercer Island; included new structural steel moment frames, structural
concrete, replacement of rotten heavy timber framing and new electrical/mechanical
systems
- St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church – replaced church’s sanctuary
and expanded administration wing; provided preconstruction services to church
for more than a year, ensuring unbending church budget would not be exceeded;
worked closely with architect and engineer to identify design issues that
would potentially impact the cost of construction
- St. Margaret’s Thrift Shop – implemented fixed price contract
to ensure delivery of new 6,000 SF wood framed building within budget; extensive
value engineering and constructibility reviews
- University Christian Church – worked with owner to phase project,
allowing church to achieve its building goals while maximizing capital fundraising
dollars; installed new elevator, upgraded antiquated electrical system and
renovated existing restrooms
- Central Corner – new construction
of mixed-use project using heaver timber and steel framing; four units of
condominiums atop street level artist/office space
