Located in downtown Seattle, N-Habit Belltown was Charter’s and Seattle’s largest modularly constructed project. The building was built from 46 individual modular sections and was assembled together in two, 48-hour shifts. The modular sections were built offsite and then transported to the jobsite via flatbed truck for final assembly.
The building has eight levels, the base level features retail/restaurant space with six levels of residential apartment space. The top units are loft-style with large bay windows that overlook the city below. A unique feature of the building is the basement bicycle parking garage. Residents have secure lockable storage and maintenance areas for their bicycles.
N-Habit Belltown was designed with many innovative features including a living wall – a room partition that serves as an organizational hub with small electric utility hookups on one side and a fold up murphy bed on the opposite side. Other amenities include hydronic heating and access to the top floor rooftop deck.
