Bethany Skilled Nursing Facility Addition
Bethany at Silver Lake is a 24-hour skilled nursing care facility located in Everett, WA that specializes in rehabilitative services, Alzheimer’s and dementia care. The facility was in need of additional patient care rooms and kitchens. Charter worked with the client and architect to deliver and execute a plan that would meet the needs of the building occupants and faculty since the facility would remain occupied while the addition was completed.
Two new additions were built, each addition includes 12 new patient rooms, 4 of which are companion rooms. To support the increased occupancy of the facility, two new kitchens were also built. The total square footage of the additions are 14,236 SF, single story and constructed of slab on grade using wood framing. The project included many aesthetic and functional upgrades that included custom live-edge mantels and upgrades to existing parking.
The project was carefully planned to limit the impact to the existing site and not interfere with the existing grounds that include beautiful views of wooded forests and local wildlife. Through Charter’s strict adherence to safety and extensive experience with occupied buildings and senior living facilities, the Bethany Silver Lake addition was completed on budget with an extremely satisfied client.
