Brouwer's Cafe
Exposed mechanical and structural elements define the interior of this warehouse-to-restaurant renovation in the heart of Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Charter worked closely with a number of trades to ensure the exceptional finish quality... the exposed steel I-beams at the ceiling and structural shotcrete walls were designed to simulate large granite slabs. The Flemish-style restaurant also features a suspended elliptical mezzanine constructed out of C-channel and laminated 2x4's.Architect: Bjarko Serra Architects
