Crescent Hill Apartments
Faced with minimal site laydown areas and a project site that is divided into two separate parts, the Crescent Hill Apartments project will require careful coordination and planning to ensure successful completion. A lack of proper waterproofing materials coupled with years of water intrusion have led to damage at entry way decks and building framing.
Project scope includes adding diverter flashings and saddle details to the existing roof to direct water away from the siding and building. Crews will also repair stair stringer to landing connections and railing connection to concrete decks.
Charter’s crews will install over 40,000 SF of new siding on 22 buildings during the fast paced, 10-month schedule. Ground level units will remain occupied during construction, but to ensure buildings are completed on time and that vacant units can be filled promptly, the project team will simultaneously repair three buildings at a time.
