This 65 unit complex located in Sherwood underwent a building envelope rehabilitation as a result of missing flashings that caused water intrusion, inadequate roof slope, improperly integrated materials and insufficient attic air flow and venting. Crews performed approximately 60,000 sq. ft. of targeted repairs to the 17 buildings located in the development.
With a fast paced, 6 month schedule, Charter worked on 3 to 6 buildings at a time making careful coordination and scheduling critical to the project’s success. Due to the targeted scope, repairs were tied into the existing siding. The construction site had minimal lay down areas and materials had to be closely managed throughout the duration of the project to limit the impact to the homeowners and the construction site.
