Kirkland Place Condominiums

Kirkland Place Condominiums in Kirkland, WA underwent an exterior building envelope rehabilitation to correct waterproofing issues. The building siding was removed and replaced; decks and walkways were re-sheathed and new waterproofing installed; roof flashing, dry rot and structural repairs were made; and buildings were excavated to install waterproofing at foundations. The project included 11 buildings and 100 units and was completed in 9 months.

The project site included a pre-existing complex water feature design that ran throughout the entire property with man-made streams and multiple ponds. To ensure the water feature was protected during construction, Charter’s crews drained and installed protection around the affected areas.
