Excalibur & Sir Gallahad Apartments
Located in Bellevue’s busy downtown neighborhood, Excalibur and Sir Gallahad Apartments underwent extensive building envelope and sealant repairs. Failed sealants and missing flashing details had caused leaks at the courtyard, roof, windows and sliding glass doors.
Originally built in 2004, the property includes three buildings with 337 occupied units. Project scope included repairing water intrusion and dry-rot damage from sealant failures, replacing roof coping details, replacing fiber cement board and metal cladding and waterproofing the courtyards and planters.
Charter worked closely with the property owners and building management to ensure construction activities impacted the residents as little as possible. Faced with a fast paced schedule, tight project site and a busy downtown location, Charter’s skilled renovation team utilized proven construction methods to successfully repair Excalibur and Sir Gallahad Apartments.
