Linnwood Heights and Deerpoint Park Condominiums
Located in West Linn, Oregon, the Linnwood Heights and Deerpoint Park Condominiums project is a 20 building residential community with 168 occupied units. Years of decay accelerated by the extreme wet weather conditions of the Pacific Northwest led to the need to remove the existing vinyl siding to perform extensive building envelope repairs.
The original vinyl siding was removed and replaced with new Hardie Prevail siding. The exposed sheathing, framing and structural areas were inspected for damage and repaired. Crews made targeted repairs to the rear elevation decks which included new waterproofing and railings.
In addition to the siding replacement, new windows and sliding glass doors were installed. This required careful planning and coordination due to the considerable size of the project and that each unit was occupied during construction activities.
Charter’s project team worked closely with the residents to limit the impact as much as possible during the project, ensuring that once complete, their home will be trouble free for years to come.
